Crossing Over

It’s happening all at once. Preparing for a wedding that’s happening 3 days from now, finalizing hotel accommodations, packing for a 10-day trip to a country that requires more than one layer of clothing, still learning the ropes at my new job and trying to prove my worth, moving from an old office building to a new one, getting ready to move out of my home for 5 years, and anticipating a big move to another house located in a different and unfamiliar city.

All of these should be exciting but knowing myself, even if I try hard, I’m not that type who easily copes with change. These chapters in one’s life should take place in a particular time interval, but unfortunately for me, it’s all happening in a span of less than 3 months. But I know that this can also be a good thing. One time, big time! The decisions that I made brought me to this very moment in my life facing all these challenges. And so I say, “BRING IT!”

Before the impending crossover, I thought of writing this last post as a single woman. From “I” and “me”, it’s gonna be “we” and “us” from now on. May God bless this new journey we are getting ready to embark upon. More than it is an overwhelming change, I know it’s gonna be exciting. :)
